Follow The Money

In follow up to what I posted yesterday about the lack of actual trained troops. It's now official:

Pentagon Admits Iraqi Troop Lack

Kinda funny how all of the criticism before the election is now being proved afterwards. You all did see the memo's about the warnings to the FAA and Condi six months before 9-11?

Hindsight is 20/20. While there may have been signs and warnings that we we now realize pointed toward September 11th, I do not believe that anyone capable of connecting the dots negligently ignored these and thus ALLOWED the attacks to happen. It's very easy to point the finger when we cannot change what happened, just lay blame for what did happen. George W. may not have all the answers of where to go from here, but at least he is trying to focus on the future and what he can do from this point on. On September 11th I felt very secure with him, a Republican, in office who I knew would protect me and my family and do what he could to retaliate against those who attacked our country. Again, he may not have all the answers or even the best solutions, but he is doing SOMETHING. And I feel safer knowing that he is in charge. Looking back and blaming people for not doing something sooner is asinine. The FAA and Condi did not blatently disregard the safety of our country. They did the best they could with the information they had. You cannot always predict the future.
