Political Compass

Ok, here is a good test to figure out where you stand in politics. I was actually pretty surprised where I turned up. I know I may come across super hard core lefty but that's only in reaction to the crazy religious righties that managed to sneak there way into government. I actually agree with a fair amount of traditional conservative values, although I'm left of center.

Anyway, you all should take a few mintues and take this so we can all compare.

My scores are:

Economic Left/Right: -5.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.46

That sticks me near Nelson Mandela, The Dalai Lama, and Ghandi. :) Ok, so I am a lefty. Actually, according to this thing I am a Libertarian Lefty. I can live with that. Power to the people!

Sorta rushed through this one, but my results actually (surprise, surprise) fell in the same quadrant as yours, although not as far from center...

Economic Left/Right: -4.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.03

That's interesting on the econmic side we are real close to the same. Not so surprising on the libertarian side though you Bush voter. :)

I finally managed to get through all the questions without falling asleep, and while I analyzed them much more than is good for me, I ended up with:

Economic Left/Right: -4.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.77

Happy? :P

I'm in the same quadrant, just a little closer to center. But, as I said many times over IM, I really disliked the questions. There's gray areas, damnit! :)

Economic Left/Right: -3.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.23

You silly people, always over-thinking things.

Come on Ben, do it do it do it!

I will, I will. I just don't want to do that at work.
