Simple Question

Has deregulation ever not ended in disaster?

Free market is a pipe dream.

Um... Cable.. when the competitive market (I think it's called RCN) gets to you you'll understand.. that and gas... It's saved my parents (and millions of Texans, Georgians, and in the near future Ohioans lots of money.. via Ignite)

Some regulations can certainly be too restrictive but those industries weren't totally deregulated or deregulated to the level that the energy companies out west were or the banking/mortgage companies were. There is still oversite there.
