LOL...Brenda has one of these things and she loves it. The old one was a Litter Robot (http://www.litter-robot.com) that worked well, but she says the Genie is even better. You have to love a litter box that washes and then blow dries the litter.
Apparently it'll work for four cats, you just have to run it more often during the day. So I guess it depends on much you want to spend on refilling the disinfectant. I'm still undecided but I'm thinking between that and a Roomba I'd be set.
What I'd be worried about is timing. See, the thing is pretty small and the cleaning cycle takes 30 minutes. So kitty #1 uses it. Then kitty wants to. Assuming it doesn't smell too bad there's a good chance kitty #2 would use it. But then it's kitty #3's turn. Given that the thing is so small, I don't think kitty #3 will be willing to put up with the stink (especially if kitty #3 in this case is Animal).
I have a littermaid right now. For all of its faults, the good thing about it is that it has a big surface area. Worst case, all three of them have space to do their thing before the rake runs. I'm not sure the genie would be able to pull that off. Which is too bad, because I otherwise like it a lot. ;)

That is quite cool! I thought about it a little and I'm not sure it'd handle 3 cats well.
