I don't even know why I am bothering to reply to this inflammatory post obviously directed towards me. The only reason I am replying is to let everyone know that you words are wasted. Over the past several years you have proven your 'bandwagon' allegiance to whatever team that happens to be 'hot' at the time. First it was the Packers when they used to be on top. They were the best and you were in with the 'cheeseheads'. After that the Packers were succeeded by the Broncos. Elway was god and there was no better team. You followed them with total devotion. After the Broncos it was the Rams. Kurt Warner was the 2nd coming. Nothing could stand between you. Then the Pats started doing all the winning so you remained relatively quite because you knew I have followed the Pats (and only the Pats) since 1995 and you couldn't root for them too. Now that brings us to the Colts. They are the 'hot' team. But keep in mind, they were also the 'hot' team last year with the unstoppable offense that won their first two playoff games by such a huge margin that everyone was saying just print their name on the superbowl trophy. But in the end, who was the one sitting on the sidelines with this head in his hands crying? Crying on national TV because of how badly he played. Now I am not saying who is going to win or lose this game. The Colts could finally (I stress finally) pull one out. All I am doing is documenting this here and now because in 2 or 3 years when its the Chargers or the Lions that are the new 'hot' team and you see Ryan rooting and saying 'Go Team!' you all will know that you can ignore him like I do. Why don't you just worry about the Redskins Ryan? They are sorely in need of some help....

Ouch.

Having grown up in the area, I've always been a fan of Washington/Baltimore teams: the Orioles, the Redskins, etc. I'm hardly a die-hard sports fan, but if I see a game and one of them is playing, I root for them.

OK so the morning was bad and the midafternoon of this sports saturday almost was a disaster. The bottom line however is that we got the job done. Even with BIG Ben not playing at the top of his game. The morning was marred by some questionable calls against the heels. Interested to see who is coming to the big tomato at Heiz field next weekend. Yes i do believe the colts will come a calling next week even though the Pats played a big of gamesmenship by letting the field get soaked. I do believe it is well within the Pats right that they earned with home field advantage. I just believe all the injuries on defense will not allow the pats to move on. Both starting cornerbacks and richard seymour (UGA) pro-bowl defensive tackle will be to much for the pats to overcome even with Mr. calm and cool Tom Brady (Mich).

This is a quote I read this morning from Michael Smith's recap of last nights game. It ties in perfectly with what I was trying to say on my blog last night.

"There should be no further debate: Tom Brady is a better quarterback than Manning, no qualifiers necessary. If they were to go mano a mano in the Quarterback Challenge, my money would be on Manning, the prototypical passer. But in a competition that matters, Brady's the guy. He's 6-0 against Manning, 7-0 as a starter in the playoffs (including two wins against the Colts), and has two Super Bowl MVPs. Manning hasn't been to a Super Bowl yet. Regardless of which quarterback has the better defense and the better coach and yada yada yada, you are what your record says you are, and Brady's record versus Manning says Brady's the better quarterback."

Finally peoples eyes are beginning to open....

If you're not too busy, how 'bout an update from the wild wild west?

Comparing Manning to Brady is crap. Manning doesn't play directly against Brady, he plays against the NE's defense and, more importantly, Bill Belichick. I have more and more respect for Bill every time he kicks Manning's ass. It has nothing to do with Brady.
